Freedom Service Dogs for Baird Financial

It was great spending a morning covering a volunteer project for Baird at Freedom Service Dogs in Denver.  Freedom Service Dogs pairs service dogs with veterans with PTSD and kids with autism.  It wasn’t glamorous, but learning about the organization and working with their committed staff was inspiring.  It’s an extensive process to find and train one these dogs.  They are now training and pairing about 40 of these dogs a year!  To learn more about service and therapy dogs, check out this great article on Your Dog Advisor.
